  1. Unfortunately Flat Sharing is not covered by the Residential Tenancy Act 1986.
  2. It is therefore highly recommended that in any flatting situation, each flatmate be required to sign a Flat house sharing agreement, to ensure that they comply with all the rules of the flat and that there is come back on those flatmates who do not comply.
  3. This Document allows you to include all the rules that you need in the flat and to have it signed by all current and future flatmates.

INFORMATION YOU NEED TO HAVE AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE THIS DOCUMENT:

  1. The Address of the property being rented;
  2. The full name of each flatmate;
  3. The full amount paid to rent the property;
  4. The amount of rent to be paid by each flatmate;
  5. The amount to be paid by each flatmate to cover utilities and food.
